Education

Old Tailem Town offers schools a realistic lesson from the past, educating students about what it was really like to attend school in our grandparents' day. Let them live and experience history, which is far more powerful than reading it in a book or watching it on television.

Your class will start off experiencing a genuine schoolhouse dating back to the 1880s. They will quickly learn how strict schools were in the past. They will be met by the grumpy old school teacher who will make them salute the flag and sing 'God Save the King'. After this, they will be marched into the schoolhouse with a kettle drum playing.

Cost per student: $11
